Application for Master's Program
Competences in German and English have to be proven for admission. In this context, German language skills at the level “DSH II” are required. For the proof of English language skills, an Academic IELTS test with the result of at least 6.0 is required. The test can be omitted if the applicant’s native language is English or if a full Bachelor’s program was completed in English.
Applicants with German Bachelor’s degree certificates
Applicants with German Bachelor’s degree certificates can directly apply at Osnabrück University. Applicants with Bachelor’s degree certificates from other EU Member States or non-EU certificates need to apply via uni-assist.
Important note: Regardless of whether the application is submitted via uni-assist or directly at Osnabrück University, the application forms must be complemented by the detailed module descriptions of the completed Bachelor’s program. For foreign module descriptions, translations in German or English must be submitted. When directly applying at Osnabrück University, module descriptions can be uploaded online as a pdf file. Without current module descriptions applications cannot be processed.
Direct application at Osnabrück University:
The first step is to apply online. Afterwards, the completed forms need to be printed and complemented by the required attachments. All documents have to be sent to the Admissions Office of Osnabrück University. Please note that all documents have to be present by the closing date.
