description

This graduate-level course is based on selected recently published scientific papers relevant for economic policy, in particular such recent policy challenges as high inflation, protectionism, sanctions, etc. Each lecture will introduce in details an academic paper (empirical, theoretical, quantitative) written by top scholars in respective fields. Participants are expected to get acquainted with the recent literature, to learn critically access the studies, and to draw policy-relevant conclusions. This course is taught in English.
Students can get credit for this course only if they have not yet taken a course from the modules WIWI-M-16001-EC: International Economic Policy M I.
