The Strategy and Competitive Analysis event will take place in blocks between 24 November and 5 December. The schedule can be found under Schedule, subject to change.

To take part in the Strategy and Competitive Analysis course in the winter semester 25/26, please apply by e-mail between 01.10.2025 and 13.10.2025. Please send your application to the secretariat of the Department of Corporate Management (sekretariat.uf@uni-osnabrueck.de). The application must include a current transcript of records in pdf format; applications without a transcript of records will not be considered. Please also make sure that your transcript of records shows a current average grade. If further examinations are passed in the period up to the end of the application deadline and these are shown on the transcript of records, it is the applicant's responsibility to submit an updated transcript of records within the application deadline so that these credits can still be taken into account. Please also state in your email whether you have already attended Mr O'Connor's ‘International Strategy’ course last semester and that you undertake to adhere to the specified schedule. Participation is compulsory. You will be informed of your decision shortly after the application deadline.

Places on this course are limited to a total of 25. A maximum of seven places can be allocated to students on the Master's degree programme in Information Systems. 18 places are allocated to students on the Master's degree programmes in Business Administration and Economics, based on the credit points already earned in the Master's degree programme. The first 18 students with the highest number of credit points are accepted (credit points in the additional account are not taken into account). In the event of a tie, preference is given to students in higher semesters. In the event of an equal score and the same number of semesters, the better grade point average is decisive. The students concerned will be notified of their acceptance after the application deadline. All other students will be moved to the waiting list in Stud.IP.

Binding registration for the examination takes place via OPIuM, the registration period will be announced under ‘Announcements’. Only those students who have been allocated a place on the course can register for the examination.
