University of Lausanne is now accepting applications for the Transitional Justice summer school. The application process can be done online, until April 15. Students who might be interested in this program will be able to find relevant information and to apply on our website.

In short, this 2-week intensive program brings together young researchers from around the world whose PhD-work tackles the difficult problem of how past injustice and mass crimes are being addressed during societal transitions. Applications from Master students planning to start a PhD soon or from early post docs will also be considered. The school is organized by an international research consortium and it promotes multi-disciplinary perspectives on transitional justice, collective memory, dealing with the past and conflict management. It combines lectures given by internationally renowned experts with mentoring activities, writing workshops and project work.
