About 50 researchers from the REECAP consortium (Research Network on Economic Experiments for the Common Agricultural Policy) met this year at the University of Warsaw, Poland. Marieke Baaken, Moritz Fritschle, and Thomas Rellensmann represented the Department of Environmental Economics with conference presentations.

Starting at the Warsaw meeting, members of the REECAP board award the "REECAP award for young researchers" for contributions to the field of agri-experimental economics. The assessment accounted for three criteria: scientific merit, policy relevance, and clarity and structure of the presentation. This year, one of the two prizes was awarded to Thomas Rellensmann for his conference contribution "Combined result-based and collective agri-environmental schemes for landscape-scale benefits: Experimental evidence from Germany” and to Damien Mayaux from the Paris School of Economics. He was awarded for his contribution “Promoting Green Consumption in Retail Markets: Behavioural Interventions under Strategic Pricing”.
