Experiments

LaER is the experimental laboratory of the school of business and economics and the institute for environmental economics at the Universität Osnabrück. Its foundation in 2010 was due to a joint effort by the chairs of microeconomics and managment & accounting. Faculty of both chairs formed an experimental research group. The research interests of the group are in experimental and theoretical approaches to the study of economic decision-making. LaER promotes the development of economics, management, accounting and other academic disciplines as empirical social science.

The core staff of the laboratory for economics research is Prof. S. Engel, Prof. Robert Gillenkirch, Prof. Steven J. Humphrey and Prof. J. Müller. A large amount of research involves collaborative projects between different chairs and departments at the Universität Osnabrück and with universities abroad.
